As your representative on City Council, I will:

• Work WITH constituents to address difficult problems and come up with creative solutions.
• Ensure all residents are part of the decision-making process and that city government is accountable to its citizens.
• Provide opportunities for youth to thrive and be active in improving their neighborhoods.
• Take action to improve schools and support student and teacher success throughout the city.
• Reduce juvenile and violent crime by instituting community courts and other problem-solving strategies.
• Devise realistic solutions to property tax issues while supporting revenue generation for the city.
• Support small businesses and ensure young adults have access to job skills and entrepreneurial training.
• Preserve affordable and workforce housing while supporting new homeowner incentives and other economic development initiatives.
• Protect the health and safety of families and the surrounding environment from potentially harmful pollutants remaining in vacated industrial properties.
